Crafting
meaningful farewells
For those seeking to honour their loved ones with a ceremony that truly resonates.
A personal funeral.
How can I help?..
I will write and deliver a funeral ceremony that entirely reflects your wishes. I can advise on symbolic actions, readings or music, and as a civil celebrant I can include religious elements or not as desired.
The most important thing is that we create a ceremony that is truly unique and personal.
Remembering a life…
I will then formulate everything we have spoken about into a ceremony and lead it on the day.
I will take care of everything so you can focus on saying goodbye in the way that is most meaningful to you.
The ceremony…
We will meet for an initial chat to discuss what form you would like the ceremony to take and, most importantly, to talk about the life and character of the person who has died.
It is a chance to reflect on how best to commemorate their life.
About me
My name is Joe and I am a civil funeral celebrant. I have an NOCN Level 3 Diploma in Funeral Celebrancy as well as a BA (Hons.) in Theology and Religious studies from the University of Cambridge.
I am passionate about creating funerals that are genuinely meaningful and can help people move through a difficult time.
As a rule, funerals are not occasions that we like to think about, but I believe it is useful to remember that they are much more about the life that has been lived than the fact it has now ended.
When not working as a celebrant I also have a career as an actor and have performed at the National Theatre, The Royal Shakespeare Company, and in the West End.
